With the exception of no more car payment, short shifter, Si front/rear sway bars, & 40k on the odometer. Everything is just like the day I bought the car.

So why did you feel the need to create a pointless, techless thread about it.

Want a pat on the back?
Good for you.
Congratulations.
Rico, where the cookies at?

Must suck to be in all that heat and humidity without AC too. I know how it is, I lived in Florida my whole childhood and most of my adult life.

It isn't difficult. Buy a can or a bottle of simple green or castrol super clean. When you pull up to your favorite do it your self car wash, soak the engine bay with it, wait a few minutes, then go to town with the pressure washer.

Hmmm. Some big ugly plugged in thing sticking up out of the dash. Single-din head unit. No tire shine. Dirty all-season mat on the passenger side. NO A/C.

Chef RICO is hereby not amused and refuses to bake a batch for this guy.

Anyway I gave my last good cookie to 24boosted for the purchase of his Greddy Turbo on his Si.

And I think THIS guy has already received a cookie. I do not hand out "seconds". Only on special occasions.....this is not one of them.

Actually I WASN'T wondering. This is Honda-Tech. Your Supra project car is of no relevance here. But it is nice. I'll give you that.

And did you just call me a "whiney hiney"??

Whatever that means.

Because you said it was easy to keep an engine bay clean. Use some cleaner etc at the car wash and then pressure wash it off. In states with snow and salt you can do that, but as soon as you pull out of the carwash it will be covered in crap again.

I was just stating that its not that easy for us Northerners.

That's why you should wait until the snow & salt melt first and then wash the engine bay.

Same concept with car washing, you're not going to wash, wax, and detail the car knowing that it's going to rain in a few hours later would you?

Mine looks the same off the lot as well! except for a paint chip on the hood, Fujita S-Ram intake, SSR deleted cat headers, and Greddy Ti-C! soon to be dropped!

.....................................Salt stains things where after extended exposure the area will not come as clean as it would before the salt came into contact with it.

Yeah I wouldnt want to wash the car when it will just get dirty again, but when you live up here that is just the case. If I had to wait for a period of sunny weather it would never happen. Seeing as we get snow from October til May (8 Months a year) and it seems to rain every other day since we are one of the highest overcasted regions in the country.

"Toyota-tech" was sarcasm. "Clean supra" was refering to the project car. Just a little clarification. It seems you have needed a lot of help with little things like this lately.
