Blown Ksport shock
I have had my Ksport coilovers in less than a year now and one already blew. Car was not slamming either. Luckily I didnt sell my Koni yellows and H&R sport springs yet. I just switched them back in now the tires are rubbing in the back.
The konis are still holding up after 5+ years. I know there are others out there with the Ksport problem, has anyone been given a hard time with the shock being replaced by Ksport?

You went from Koni Yellows w/ H&R springs to K-sports?
That's like going from a BMW to a Hyundai...
I think K-sport has a 1yr warranty...? I could be wrong.

my brother in law has K-sports on his '02 Maxima and hes had problems with them. One rear shock blew and he was able to send it back, but they couldnt just give him 1. So he got a discounted rate on pair and had to send Ksport both rear shocks. Supposedly what he got back was an improved design.

Neither can I...But I can raise the height on my "Ground Control Coilover" and Koni Yellow setup...Note that the springs and their adjustable perches raise and lower the car, not the dampner (the shock)
Disclaimer: I don't own a GC Koni yellow combo...

Well, let me bring this one back from the dead, blew another shock. Oil dripping all over. I sent the one before in to get fixed. Got that one back now another one is blown. The first was the right rear now this one is right front. This is crazy.
Doesn't seem to crazy at all, I would get it fixed and sell them as fast as you can. Then go pick up GC's for your Koni's
Another one bites the dust AHHH, another one bites the dust AHH. Not surprising.
Definately get one of there 100 replacements if it's not covered under warranty, then sell them, and get something like Koni/GC or any other reliable setup out there. Good luck. Sucks to have downtime, and have problems such as this especially since your out overseas!!

Buddy of mine had the same problem with his SE-R with K-sports. Raised the car on a lift and both front pissed on the floor. Car was not dumped either.
+1 for Koni GC. Just installed mine last weekend

This is really difficult for people like me who live overseas. My boy also has or had the same issue as me with the Ksports. Parts are hard to come by in Germany. And when we order from the states it takes forever to get to us. So basically we have to make the right choice from the beginning and obviously getting the Ksports was the wrong choice. Too bad I already sold the Konis to a buddy of mine who was in dying need of some shocks.
