Default Another Tial v band manifold we made

A lot of people have been asking about our B series Top mount Tial V band manifold. Morgan just finished up one, figured i would post some pictures up here in the fab section. We are very happy with the finished product, we made this manifold so the WG could fit under the downpipe with a slight angle upward instead of the front with an insufficient 90 degree bend. This one is flanged for a 30/35r turbo, and is powersteering compatible. K series sidemount V band manifold is also being finished up now.

you can see more pictures in our website gallery:

Tial only makes these housings for the GT series turbochargers. Time to upgrade to a gt35r.

Last time I talked to tial they said that nothing off the shelf would work and you had to buy everything from them, extra flange and clamp.. But that's like an off the shelf Clampco to me...

clampco makes a ton of custom clamps as well, here's the part number if you want to look around yourself 99758-0309, as far as i understand it they are custom clamps made for tial. same for the downpipe, we have tried regular 3" clamps and flanges they didnt mate up nearly as well as the tial stuff.

very nice setup, any benifits of a round inlet on on the turbo vs. your standard t3 inlet?

the largest advantage of the v band flange is that you can rotate the turbo on an axis that you normally cant, this give the fabricator a bit of flexibility in turbo placement and downpipe routing. another advantage from what weve seen if our collector has a smoother flow into the housing compared to our standard t3 collector.

the tial housings are also a lot lighter than its counterparts.

the weight is the largest advantage. you guys would make t6 turbines fit if rules allowed. lol.

He wants to see how close it is to being perpendicular to earth, i.e. if it clears all the runners.
