I know most fellow honda-tech members with Type R's hate drag racing and flame on everyone who does but I was just wondering what's the fastest you guys have done in the 1/4 mile on five lugs ALL MOTOR? What's the setup? What kinda tires or slicks? Let's keep it peaceful.

well... i usually go a lot faster with my 5 lug than without it since it won't go anywhere sitting on its frame..

just make sure u do a street tune or you'll blow the welds off your intake manifold!

Yea, I'm going to 4 lug too so my VTECH will crack harder and cause less wheel spin.

 

damn type r owners and their egos...

anyhow, when i drove my cousin's '01 type r down the drag strip... i got a 14.4 @ 98 mph. its basically stock with just an intake.
