will the mahle gold series be ok in a sleeved block
i talked with blake briefly about it but i wanted to get some opinions. i have a darton wet sleeved block and some gold series mahle pistons. i was wondering if you could run these pistons. i can find any other ones that i can afford new or used. they are 11.5 .20 over. if anyone has a set laying around let me know. any ideas on if it will work???

i cant figure out any reason why they wouldnt work besides for some reason the skirt material not working correctly with the iron sleeves.

They should work fine in a sleeved block. The material they make the gold series pistons out of just expands slower then a normal forged piston, allowing it to work with the FRM.
I'd still run it by Mahle and find out what piston to wall clearance should be used though.

i have already called Mahle for a customer and they do not sagest using them in a sleeved block. there made for the stock h22 sleeve and will not work well with a sleeved block

Re: (H-EK22)
darton makes a replacement iron liner. thats what im running in my h23vtec.
cheaper and machine shops dont charge much to install. Just be sure to send the pistons with the block so they can meet a specified piston to wall clearance.
you may have to sell those pistons anyway. If they arent oversided 87mm pistons (87.25mm) then you may be out of luck.
