So, you're running an EX header on an LX?

If so, where did you mount the primary Oxygen sensor on the header? As well as the secondary Oxygen sensor?

I know what he done cause Ive done the same. The O2 sensor, primary is mounted at the flange on the down pipe, at the begining and then the secondary O2 sensor is mounted right before the rear flange and he has a straight pipe for a down pipe. I have the same thing on my car, its loud but because of no cat it stinks and your check engine light stays on.

there is a way to trick the second o2 sensor into thinking there is a cat. its a CEL eliminator.

Which is just a Spark Plug Defouler that they've renamed for profit. Those things cost like $0.99 at typical auto parts stores.

thats a good idea never knew it exsited because I havn't ever had a car like this one, so thats something I would like to spend .99 Cents on. lol

As far as that gasket not sealing up, I don't have a clue cause I have an EX and everything fits like a glove on mine, there mine came with a gasket and its just a triangular flange that meets with another and its a thin flat gasket, not sure about the model you have. Thats for the one at the rear O2 sensor, if your talking about the one inbetween the header and down pipe then you should be able to tighten it up enough to seal.

yeah i hate to say it but it sounds ricey as panda exspess lol i hate it but it could be cause right now i have no cat tisk tisk im going to get a highflow one and the spark but defolers etc etc and most likely im going to have to make a custom gasket for the bottom of the headers burn but yeah ricey like hell and loud and since theres a leak theres a little air sputter like a mucle car its funny as hell

I have an EX so no problem fittin anything on mine, but mine doesn't sound Ricey, mine has a deeper tone to it because I got a muffler thats like 4.5-5" round and gives it a really good smooth tone, unlike those ticked off bumble bees I hear running around.

OK NOW HERES THE BIGGY do i have to drill out a little deeper into the defouler due to the fact the o2 tip does not fit cause i tried doing a plug and play this morning and to my demise it didn't fit in

so should i drill some extra space
and should i extend it by 2 defoulers of just one
and should i do top o2 and bottom o2 or just the bottom

I know how to get rid of the CEL after you do this swap, disconnect the sensor wires and run it for a day with no sensors! your cel will be on, then connect the sensor wires and run it for a while and BAM! your CEL will go off and stay off. Worked for me lol
