...use a CRX Si as a 'donor' car then?

QFT. Every concept car Honda has put out rarely looks like the production model. Hopefully changes will be made to make it more aesthetically pleasing, lol.

It looks horrible. And a hybrid = 50 mpg? C'mon, just put a d15 in it = 40mpg

I like it. They need to de-fat'afy the *** a little bit, but it looks tough, and i can definatley see traits of the old CRX which is a good thing. Lets hope it shares platforms with something that is worth swapping with.

Has anyone herd plans for the motor in the new NSX. I read in the newspaper that Honda want to put a V10 into it.

this is an "overview" of what it may look like but production will be way different, the engine will be a k20-k24 or a hybrid that's for sure

my 89 hf just got 51 on a 10hr trip to cleveland I deff like the outside but the inside is hideous. If its a hybrid im sure it doesnt need dual exhaust and those big tires and rims

Hmm good eye. I didnt catch that. I just figured it was going to be the next insight, and they would wuss it up.
Yeah, I was just using my DX as example on the MPG thing. I have heard of better MPG than mine.

Also does anyone know of a writeup about this? Press release or something that you could link in here?

NM I found it...

A potential CRX replacement will be on display as the concept 'CR-Z' - "a next-generation lightweight sports car equipped with Honda’s original gas-electric hybrid system which achieves both clean performance and a high level of torque."

No sports car we are used to anyway.
