Well after 1.5 years of ownership and about 20k miles, I finally decided to give my '98 Integra GSR the boot... It was a great little car when it wasn't broken, but I found that everytime I fixed a problem, 2 more would appear.

Traded the GSR in on a 2003 Spa Yellow S2000 on Saturday morning. I got fed up with the GSR on Friday night, and decided that it was time to cut my losses and move on. Found the S about 90 miles from my house. I called the dealer first thing on Saturday morning to confirm that the car was still avalible, and that it had 3,500 miles and not 35k. I got in the GSR and drove right over.

The previous owner used clear plastic mats over the factory mats which were over factory protective plastic on the carpet. I thought that I was **** retentive when it came to my cars... For all intents and purposes, the car is brand new.

I gave her a nice detail today, and I am going to try to get some decent pictures of it tomorrow... All I have are dealer pics and a quick pic that I snapped of GSR and the S2000 together.

With the exception of the shift ****, every mod on that car was done because the stock part had failed.

just curious, how much did you get for the gsr in trade in?

 

odd i never had that many problems with my Turbo gsr....and i beat it daily

Well I wouldn't exactly say you are cutting your losses. I would call it a great big step up A GSR in no way shape or form compares to an s2000.

The previous owner was a ricer idiot... If I had been the sole owner of the car, I would not have had so many problems.

There is no question that it is a step up, but I did cut my losses by trading in the money pit of a car that I had.

I got a wave from an S2000 going the other direction about 5 minutes away from the dealership.

 

Dang man that is a great find! I picked up my '01 s2k on Saturday too so I guess we are both the new guys haha. I have been looking all over for another s2k owner to drive by so I can wave

 

The interior is flawless!!

 

Jl Freed is 10 mins from house...congrats on the car but I hope they didn't rip you a new one on pricing

u've been under a rock... its the 2nd slowest color next to laguna blue

at least its a AP1
but man the preivous owner didnt enjoy that car with only 3.5K on it!!!
