evolution of my ITR (~17 pics)
well, when i was 15 I purchased a 1997 Civic DX hatch just before my 16th b-day and I modded it a little bit, just the basics. Always wanted an ITR though and just before my 17th b-day, I picked up a 1997 integra type r with a salvage title and missing number plate. oh well, it was in rough shape but I wanted one and got it for an OK price. here is the timeline of it. enjoy
here she is after the 1200 mile trip back from florida to indiana
ballin' outrageous, I know. i didn't care, I finally had an R
took her out for her first autocross. i started autocrossing when I was 16, but this was the first with the R due to indiana winters

ordered some parts.....cool beans (much more parts obviously but i'm already tired of uploading
)
winter rebuild time (getting it back to true 97 form)
new paint!
minty fresh and clean!

me and josh (swell_ryder) in my garage prepping for expo 6!
on the track!! and yes, the turn signal did eventually fall out and broke into a million pieces
its cool looking back on this. afraid I may be selling soon. reason for selling is that im tired of driving a beater all the time and not getting enough time driving this. plus, i want to experience owning an STi. driven them, like them, and working two jobs this summer to try and pick one up before heading back to cool-ege in august

i didnt own an R, but i'm looking into it to replace my evo.
oh wait, theivery as at an all time high. nevermind.

im not really worried about theft at all, its just I miss it sitting in the garage and want something that I can actually enjoy daily.
im sure i will be back in an R in the future and i know im going to regret selling, but i can accept that
im prolly selling this thing for a damn good price when the time comes in the next couple months, ill need a quick sale
