Default So i tried a new wax (56k go away)

EPIC.

Probably the most amazing synthetic wax i have ever used. Mind you, this is 1 layer, it is meant to be layered to achieve a "deeper shine."

Got it from detailersparadise if you are interested. I've used everything from Mothers to Zaino ...IMO, best WAX evar.

Fiji Blue Pearl ... as it is meant to look.

it should also be noted that you have a brand new car. the paint on your car is a little different than on bob's 1992 honda accord that was never taken care of.

Tips... hmmm.

Well in general:
- Wash the car with a clean microfiber mit and turtle wax car wash.
- dry the day with microfiber towels.
- use Prima Slick for quick detailer.
- Wax was put on fresh (used dawn to get off the grime beforehand)
- Used microfiber application pads to apply wax, in an even thin coat
- let try for 45 mins - 1 hr (in garage, do NOT put wax on in sunlight)
- wiped off and buffed to a shine with microfiber cloths!

That's about it!

true that, but it has been thru a NorthEastern winter. I always make sure to take my time and be careful whenever i wash the car, i try to avoid swirls as best i can.

Obviously if your paint is hurting...you might need some pre-wax polishing / glazing...

totally agree. i just didn't want to see you giving false hope to people whose car has never seen a claybar and some polish. you are going to have people coming in here saying "wtf, my car doesn't look like this"
