Attn: All DC5R owners/Brembo brake conversion
Currently running DC5R 5-Lug/Brembo conversion on my EP3 ...
Been working on a little science project recently and wondered if anyone could help me out ... as we all know it is very hard to find OEM replacement parts for the DC5R in the US and I was looking into finding another source for brake rotors.
The front and rear rotors on the DC5R have the same overall diameter as the S2000 (Front-300mm, Rear-282mm)... I'm pretty sure the disc thickness is the same as well, but not 100% sure. Has anyone compared the hat sizes of these rotors? If that is the same then we should be able to use the S2000 rotors as a spare ... I don't have any sitting around so I can't really do a comparison.
I'm currently running Carbotech pads front and rear and I know the rear pad is the same one that is used on S2000's ... the front is the same as the 350Z Brembo package.
Just wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone has looked into it already.
On a side note ... it would be wise to keep your old brake components if you did the swap ... I was able to use the rear caliper brackets off my EP3 to replace the DC5R ones ... they had torn boots and were beginning to stick.
Any help on this would be appreciated ...

I'd estimate that the S2000 brakes won't fit, because the wheel offset is too different. They don't need nearly as much caliper clearance as the Brembos. You might be able to just eyeball the front hats next time you see an S2K.
I think I've heard of either TSX or TL rotors being the same... but I can't be sure on that, either.

I thought the stock offset for the S2000 was +55 (front) and +65 (rear) ... DC5R is +60 so that is fairly close in my opinion.
The TSX front rotor is the same diameter but the rear is much smaller. The TL front and rear rotors are the same diameter ... not sure about thickness or hat size. The TL-S w/ Brembos has a larger front rotor but same size rear as the TL.
I'll keep checking around and see what I can find ... thanks for the info ... just wanted to see if anyone has found a new source for spare parts.

The dealership here has a 30 day return policy with no restocking fee ... so I'm going to go out and get a front and rear S2000 rotor and try them on for size ... will keep everyone posted that is interested!
