thx
It will be a while to get back up and running..I need a new head apparently hEhE..the good thing is that there is no damage on my darton sleeves..none at all. I turn the motor over manually..and surprisingly there was no damage to the sleeves..going with the skunk2 valve train again and possibly going to church automotive this time...

I think you mean a valve. If it makes you feel any better a local dyno tuner overreved mine and shattered the piston on #3 bent a rod and 6 valves and all 4 pistons hit the head. The only good thing to come from it is that he has ageed to pay for it.

he revved to 8k..thats it...im pretty sure my motor can handle more than that...but I am going to take it else where for tuning next time..when I get my motor back up on running...if I decide to finish my project
....thats not a dropped valve. those are broken valves. the stems are still in the guides, and from the picture of the 2 cylinders that are still good, it looks like the valves were hitting them too. no p2v clearance. sorry for your loss....sounds like it would have been a badass build
he did only 4 rruns...2 practise...the 3rd made 163 whp..and the 4th run was when it died....KMS you can buy on ebay..their website is honda-performance.com
2 pistons are dead..the other 2 are okay..but I need a new head..

Sorry for your loss. I know what your feelin. If your going to go tune up north , you mind as well go where we go. We've had numerous cars tuned @ Whitfield Racing and have never had any problems. Not only are all my cars tuned there , so are all our customers cars.Any time we need a tune ,we call ,and they're ready for us. No questions asked. No matter what time. Even Sundays. Can't get that service in S.D. unfortunately. Good luck on the new build. Where did you get your car tuned at anyways?
