my friend was/is a new rider so the excitement of a new bike and stuff and trying to learn will put alot of miles on it.

did he really lowside it on gravel or something? or did he lose the rear end downshifting into 1st? i lock up the rear tire cause i forget about the big difference in ratio on the lil 250. its easy to lose it if you dont stay loose when that happens.

it was lowsided due to the fact that he downshifted in a curve and the back tire got away from him.

ah ha. this is the one thing that you have to be more careful about on this bike than on larger ones - you have to rev match aggressive downshifts - just like in a car
