what are the best oem honda seats?
as the title says, what factory seats are best? i have heard great things about del sol seats, but i was wondering what others thought. i am looking for something with a little more bolster on the side than my stock seats...something that will secure me during spirited driving. all opinions welome.
again...why? i know that the type r seats are mad jdm, but other than that and their thousand dollar price tag, what makes them the best?
JDM ITR Recaro's should be near the top of the 'OEM Honda' seat list.
comfy, good support, micro adjust, can use a harness, nice material...

ok, cool. what about non-jdm seats? i would like to spend under $300 for a set of both passenger and drivers seats. for that amount of money, which factory seats would be the best.
Itr seats,
I drove across country once in oem civic seats, had butt/back hurting issues after 14 hours driving.
Itrs, not nearly the same experience, much more comfortable.

Prelude seats have wayyy more side bolstering than the Del Sol Recarros. My bro has a Sol Vtec, and his woman a 93 Si Lude. Her seats "hug" you more than mine, or my bro's Sol.

Currently I have Del Sol seats. They hurt my back for a couple months when I first got them (I was used to that lumbar in stock Civic seats) but then I got used to it and like them alot.
I really liked the seats in my 98 Prelude SH. Felt really comfortable and strapped in.

i appreciate your willingness to help, but please keep sales in the marketplace. if i was interested in buying your seats, i would have searched there. i am trying to gather some information on which seats people find to be the most comfortable, stable, etc. thanks to all of those who have helped so far.
I'm a fan of cloth integra seats and del sols. Why integra seats? Because they look good and is comfy. Way better than civic seats. Del Sols are great because of how low they sit and real like a real racing seat.

Agreed. Awesome lateral support, low seating position, non-obnoxious colors, comfy shape.
