Default Anybody running PR3 pistons in an non-vtec b18?

Hey guys, I've searched and I can't find a good thread with people responding to the question I'm asking about.
Has anybody put in v-tec pistons(ex.PR3) into a b18a/b non-vtec engine before?

reason I ask is because I know that with a d-series engine, if you install a vtec head, you have to run a vtec piston or you'll slap your valves due to the valve reliefs cut differently on the pistons.
I'm just wondering if it's the same for the B-series non-vtec motors.
I'm thinking of putting in PR3 pistons I have access to into my b18b and pickup some aggressive cams to work with the higher CR.

Any experience with this? thanks guys!

from doing searches...I haven't gotten a direct answer but it looks like nobody is really concerned with any problems running the b16 or vtec pistons in a non-vtec b-series.

Thought so...good to hear

using zealautowerks, says with PR3's the CR would be 11.37:1 and with P30's 11.59:1

still

I've heard that the c-speed calc is a bit off...and that zealautowerks information has been provided by a group of honda-tech and hybrids.jp members.
I just still use the zeal but the CR will be a nice bump over factory anyways

I've got pr3's in my b18b right now. Results from a compression test were 230 in all 4 cylinders. Make sure you run 91+ octane if you put them in. My old GSR'd Del Sol had 185 in all 4 cylinders for a comparisson.

pr3's in the b18b, any mods to the engine? or did you just install the pistons itself.

any feedback on the setup?

Only the ctr pistons in the c-speed calc is off, everything else is on point.
