So, I dont know if you guys remember that my ITR was stolen about a month ago. Anyways I got it the second day after I posted in here.... Really didn't get it back til like 4 days ago just because the cops were investigating. Investigating what... I dont know. They kept my car for such a long time. Anyways, they didn't take my motor or my turbo. The insurance is going to fix everything thats wrong with it. Is mostly the inside. They did take my wing and messed up the rear bumper too.

Yup.... that's me. After this I'm putting a grip of security into my ITR. I'm so lucky it didn't get totaled or stripped to the shell.

 

I'm glad you got heR back and that your motor did't get stolen.

Ok since everything is going to get fixed... I've had a lot of people say that it looks good without the wing. Should I leave it off and put that money onto something else for the R or...? Let me know what y'all think

Definately restore her back to stock perfection... unless you plan on modding it. Also depends if you plan on keeping it or selling it in the long run.

Did you insurance company look up the cost of new seats yet? I hope they did before agreeing to replace them. They are in for a shock!

Is a replacement seat available as an assembled item? I just built one at acuraoemparts.com and it was over $2800

 

That's an odd mix of stuff to steal. Radio, seats, but leave the shift **** and the rest of the faux CF? Not to mention the cluster, and the freakin' drivetrain.

You got very, very, VERY lucky! Your insurance will **** a kitten when they find out how much replacement cost is going to be, but just remind them how much $$$$ they're saving - it could have been far worse.

Yeah I think the same to myself... why steal an R for just that. I did have a in dash dvd player which they took. They took my center console too. No is not a 4 lug convertion.. I got aftermarket wheels. What I dont get is who would go through the trouble. The people that stole it knew exactly what it was and what they were doing. I was told by TC performance in Colorado that in order for them to get the car running they had to by pass the ECU which is locked. From the pictures that I show them the owner told me that they disconnected my ECU and used their own ECU to run the car and yes I can see the ECU is unplugged. So yeah they for sure knew what they were doing. But then again when I got the car the people at the dealership told me that back when they sold them brand new. They had one R on the floor inside the building and that some thieves broke into the dealership at night, drove the car down the stairs and left it in another city just to take the spoiler. Which is so stupid if you ask me.
