Help! clicking noise when i step on the gas
Hey, i just turbo-ed my accord like a month ago. I've been having these weird clicking noises only when i step on the gas. You can hear it when i go over 35mph. I took it to a shop to see if they could figure it out. but i got nothing. they said it wasn't the wheel bearing or anything but most likely something to do with the engine..
is something broken inside? There isn't any clickin noises when it is idle, or when i turn, only when i accelerate. the sound seems to be coming from the front driver side, and it sounds like if you put a card in between a fan. if that helps. Thanks ahead for any help.

nah only when going like35+ at low rpms. you can only hear the clicking whenever u step on da gas. right after you let go the sound goes away.
same thing happened to my car right after i got i/h/e done to it. for some reason when i put 91 shell it goes away...but when i put in any other kind of fuel from any other gas station it starts up again. thats what i did to make mine go away. dont know why...it just worked. what fuel do you use?
yee i only use premium at 76 ever since i went turbo. should i try another gas station? thats pretty weird cuz i thought that gas everywhere is pretty much the same. but i guess i'll try shell or something after im empty. thanks.
yeah thats what it hougth also. when you fill up again with shell gas or another kind, it will still do the clicking sound for few miles maybe 50 or so until its just shell gas left in the tank if thats the problem. the tank has to be completely empty of the old has.

hmm... well i filled it up with shell after i was empty and now half the tank is gone... and theres still the clicking noise.. any other suggestions?
Just a suggestion! Maybe you have a small exhaust leak that can only be detected when your under boost.
Do you feel a loss of power when this happens? if so you may have leak at the intake manifold?
Did you have the turbo installed or did you do it yourself? If you had it installed for you maybe you could take it back to the installer and have them check it out?
