Default no spark..dead cylinder..valves?injectors?..HELP!!!!

alright i am lost now. this was my original post:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1743149

i have changed:
ignition control module (from a running h22)
spark plugs (new)
spark plug wires (from a running h22)
distributer cap (new)
rotor (new)

then i took my car to a muffler/smog shop and had them check the o2 sensor and my catalytic converter (only 2 months old). everything was fine from what they said.

i just took my car to my girl's dad's shop and did a compression check:

cylinder 1 = 225
cylinder 2 = 225
cylinder 3 = 240
cylinder 4 = 225

*****so everything seems up to par there BUT..... when i took out the plugs (been in the car for 2 days) to do the compression check i found the plug in cylinder 3 had not been igniting... it was completely clean/looked brand new except it had a tiny bit of gas on it. *****

what could it be??? i am thinking a bad valve but wouldnt that cause the compression to be bad in that cylinder? could it just be caused by a bad injector? all of the wires are getting great spark so that isnt the problem....

any help is appreciated!!!

get your hands on a timing light, and try it on all 4 plug wires, make sure theyre all firing at least as far as the wire

then get your hands on a fuel pressure meter, the b&n ones are like $20 at pepboys, and make sure your fuel pressure is in spec

let me know how that goes

i already used a timing light and the wires are firing fine...
i will check into getting a fuel pressure meter tomorrow. i have to leave for work in 10 minutes. what would that be proving though? if it were the fuel filter going bad wouldnt it effect all 4 cylinders and not just one? wouldnt it more likely be an injector or am i missing something?
thanks for your advice

when diagnosing a problem like this, start simple

check that fuel pressure and get back to me

if you're not getting spark. first, make sure your battery has enuff juice to crank. the battery then distribute power to the IGNITION SWITCH which distributes to the ECU, IGNITION CONTROL MODULE, and IGNITION COIL. to spark.

since you're saying your not getting spark. check if you have a bad ECU. since you already replaced the ICM.how about the ignition coil?

if you're not getting fuel. listen for your fuel pump prime. and see if there is pressure on the fuel rail. if it sprays out gas on the 17MM bolt on the rail. u got fuel.

since you said you're already gettin spark. its just fuel. first, check the main relay. then listen for ur fuel pump prime when you turn the key to ACC (II). if no prime. check the THERMOSTAT GROUND. its right above the transmission next to the vtec solenoid. if its grounded. check the fuel pump ground. and fuel pump itself.

hope this helps.

alright instead of buying a fuel pressure meter (priced at $39.99 at kragen and autozone) i went ahead and swapped out an injector from a friends h22 that he is selling to see if it fixed the problem and sure enough.... i switched the injector on cylinder#3 and now my car runs GREAT!.
i will probably go ahead and buy new injectors soon anyways but at least my car runs great again and i found the problem.
i want to thank everyone that tried to help for their input and advice.
