Default S300 w/ GM 3 bar settings anyone?

Well as most of you know the s300 doesn't have a selectable setting for using the gm 3 bar. i know the easy route would be to go with the motec 3 bar, but its not really an option at the moment. i just need to get going with what i've got. so has anybody here set up their s300 to work with the gm 3 bar? your help would be greatly appreciated.

WE need to know which part number of the sensor you have. There are at least 3 of them.

neetronics 3bar.

Make sure it is not the MSD style 3 bar... if it is send it back. I've had problems with wanna-be GM's. I ONLY use MoTeC's now.

No, he is saying use the neetronics selection in the software for configuration.
I don't know how you tell.

Using a Gm 3bar.. Just select the Motec... from the sensor list. Those are the correct setting for Gm.... To the best of my knowledge... that is how my s300 and Gm is setup... Checked my .skl file for you.

test the voltage of ur current map sensor with a volt meter. key in on position only. then select the map sensor in hondata sofware thats closest to the voltage of ur map sensor.

Hmm this was confusion a while back..I personnally called Motec and they do not make a Motec 3 bar they said it is a GM3 bar part #..Only problem I'm hearing with these are some are off a lil sometimes hit or miss, again just what I'm hearing on that.. but GM 3 bar = motec 3 Bar just sold by MOTEC..Motec did make a 5 Bar..

If you want to do a test, get a piece of PVC and put end caps on it and make sure its air tight. Then add a nipple for an air pump, the 3bar sensor, and a decent pressure gauge. Feed the map sensor 5V, check the voltage output. Then put some pressure in the system. Walk away for a few minutes to make sure the unit is holding pressure. Read the pressure and note the voltage. Now do some algebra and come up with a linear formula. Use said formula and plug it in Hondata. Or just use the Motec setting.

This is the old GM 3 Bar. It has different voltages from the new ones. I did the calculations for mine and if my memory serves me correctly it was closest to the Neetronics sensor. However, I entered custom values but don't remember what they are. My laptop isn't here.
