Default I need LESS rotation!!

Problem is at the last auto-X about a month ago I had WAY too much front grip, it was a fast course for us (ie 2nd gear the whole way) but in the fast corners it felt good and in the slower tighter corners the rear was coming around more then I would like. Problem is that I am running falken 615's on the fronts and old nitto exxtremos on the rears (not sure of the real name but they suck) It was my first time with this set-up and the falkens had WAY more grip then I thought they would.

My question is how can I change the attitude of the car with what I have now. Ground controls on Kyb non adjustables (even ride height but stiffer rear springs) stock everything else. At the last session I lowered the rears (psi) some to try and get a slower rotation but it didn't seem to help.

Are there any other tricks to get a little less rotation out of this for tomorrow?

PS: the other 2 azenis are in the truck on there way , I am just trying to make the best out of this situation. I really don't wanna get mashed by the mini S again.

what do you mean by slower rotation??? the wheels turning slower? That's not gonna happen. Lowering the psi will increase your grip a bit... maybe. That would help... you're main problem is grip, you're best be is to just get those tires.... or you could try switching out one on the back with one on the front.... who knows?

What I meant was the rear end comes around alittle slower..which didn't work. I know I'll be better off when I get the new tires but they wont be ready by tomorrow so I was hoping...I guess wishing that there was a way to sneak a little understeer into the mix. Besides mashing the gas in corners. (that last sentence was a joke)

i have azenis 615's as my auto-x'ing tires also, and its UNBELIEVEABLE how much grip these tires have!! its like driving a whole different car, seriously.

as soon as you get the 615's on the rear, you'll be set

if i understand you correctly, you want less oversteer. your slip angle is greater in the rear due to many factors, tires being one of them. try and get similar tires for better balance then work from there.

to tune your suspension for nuetral or less oversteer :

reduce spring rate/shock stiffness in the rear
stiffen front anti sway (larger bar), spring/shock
increase tire pressure in the rear

attack corners with a different philosophy :

less trail braking
less abrupt forward pitch while in a bend

other ht members like badmonkey could chime in with more experience than myself so you could page him (he's very informed and helpful)
