Default EF budget Turbo D build

I'll start off with some history....I had an 89 civic sedan with a b16 with CTR pistons in it. I sold the whole swap to a local kid for 2600 bucks and he gave me his stock D16A6 swap also. I did all the labor also. I had 2600 bucks to spend soo i wanted to go built turbo D. I bought a stage 3 clutch and flywheel brand new for 300 off a friend. Another friend sold me a Y8 long block dirt cheap and i rocked that with the clutch/fly setup for about 500 miles while i was gathering my turbo parts. I spent about 1200 bucks on my whole turbo setup. Heres a pic of it all on.

So i rocked the Y8 on like 10 psi and 2 weeks later the oil pump gave out causing a nasty rod knock. That same night i picked up a mint y7 with 60k for 150 bucks. Had it all back together running in about a day. That was on a Friday, then on sunday night my oil light went on and it started knocking again. So i was like screw it. I wanted to start on my built motor. Well it happens this other local kid really wanted my Sedan.. He had this rust free Ef hatch. He would not leave me alone about trading shells. The car was in great shape soo i was like what the hell, i was getting sick of my sedan anyway. So now that leaves me owning a rust free EF hatch with new paint. I threw on my bmw bottle caps and cleaned the car up a little. Day after owning it i bought an auto power roll bar and mint SI seats off a friend.

car looks hot as hell. haha

I just started piecing my motor together. I have have a 1000 dollar budget to do the bottom end and head on this. Splitime hooked it up fatty on some eagle rods, CP pistons and a near mint Z6 block and crank for super cheap. I bought a Delta cam off a local friend brand new in the box for 85 bucks. I just always find all these crazy deals. Anyway Enough with the BS. heres my setup that i have less then 2600 bucks into

-Z6 block fresh hone
-ACL bearings
-Eagle rods
-CP 9.0:1 pistons
-OEM Z6 head gasket
-Decked A6 head with new valve seals
-Delta cam with HKS cam gear
-Y8 intake manifold and TB
-Mini log manifold
-XS power front mount
-Garret 57 trim T3T4 .60/.63
-Going to do a 3 inch downpipe coming right out of the side of the car
-SSauto "tial" WG
-Greddy type S BOV

Motor is coming together nicely. i am slowly ordering the parts i need. It shoud be a rotating assembly by saturday.

When i first got my EF it needed a lot of work. I only had this car for a week and 3 days now soo i have been busting my *** on it. It had spray painted ricer lights which i replaced with mint OEM ones. Interoir was for the most part missing. Car was org. blue so the floors were blue. I painted everything black.

Eh i will stop the rambling and just show pics. I will prob update it everyday since i have no job and just work on the car all day.

what is looks like as of today

The hood is the only thing that is really messed up on this car.

Die in a fire!!!

I spend 2600 on my motor, roll bar, seats, wheels, suspension, turbo setup, tuning, all kinds of ****. When i got this car it looked like complete ****. now its looks kinda nice. Still needs more. I am turning the boost up on sat i think. 18 psi or something, might take it to 20. Dynoing it on sept 9th. no dyno tuning just 3 pulls. hoping to make over 350 whp just from a safe and fun street tune.

Love the headlights and the bottlecaps. Your sedan was and still is one of the many inspirations that keeps me going on my build.

well i broke my car today. Broke it well.... I took my buddy for a ride which i was in IN which is 45 min from my house. I hit 2nd gear roasted them. Came to a light, took off normal and i heard something hit my car from under, my friend looked out the window and his hat flew off so i went to turn around and my car like wouldn't turn at all. I busted the Diff. Fluid was just pouring out. Had to pay a friend 60 bucks to get home

Time for an LSD?

That sucks about your tranny, but they are so cheap and easy to find, it really could have been a lot worse.
