Default FS: 95 zx6r

15,300 miles...

NEW Mirror stay bracket (just replaced 3 days ago)
New fork seals (Right seal replaced, replaced whole left fork w/used)
New oil filter and oil change
New tires
New rear wheel bearing
New speedo cable
New front brake pads
New rear brake caliper/pads
New handgrips
Polished frame/swingarm (not the best not the worst job)
Replaced ignition
Replaced fuse box
98-01 tank/tail/seat conversion
Solo tail setup
Fairings are cracked/rashed

Fairings are cracked/rashed

I bought it like this:

Front fairing is busted up:

Sides are cracked and could probably be fixed but whatever they work as they are.

Since then I've done this:

Also comes with a solo tail, I have running lights wired now just havent found a brake light:

I will start by saying this....appearance wise the bike needs some work.....mechanically its in great shape.....it should be since I've replaced so much on it lol . The bike will come with both tails. The rear seat is the stock 95 and doesnt fit perfectly(cosmetic wise) but fits so that it locks and latches and you can ride a passanger if you wanted. I've put a little over 2,000 miles on the bike myself since I bought it. Im interested in getting into an old school VW or a nice Honda again so the bike is up for sale and the left over money will go into my new bike fund.

I will not take the bike more than 1-2hrs. If you want it and live further I will meet you within a distance or if you pay me to bring it to you I can probably do that as well but I would need a non refundable deposit first. Any questions post or IM me. Looking to do this ASAP. IF nothing happens in the next 2 weeks and I get a car before then I'll end up keeping it. I'm trying to get my g/f a car.

You can get ahold of me on AIM: Kaspakillz

Bump it up...........considering keeping it unless I get a decent offer......

I will just go ahead and add this in while Im posting.....

1:The tach isnt working, I took the fairings off and tried to reconnect a wire that is disconnected and it didnt work. Im not sure if its the tach itself or what but I am slowly working on figuring it out. I dont really care if it works or not but people ask about it when they see the bike so I figured I would fix it if I have time/money.

2:I wont go into full detail on this but anyway.............PLEASE PLEASE do not tell me what is wrong with MY BIKE when/if I meet you........ESPECIALLY when there is nothing wrong...I was trying to be convinced that there were problems with it that do not exist........2 examples

A:There is a recess in the swingarm near the midpipe. Since the swingarm is polished it is noticeable but I assure you its is a FACTORY made recess and not a dent or ding. I had 2 other 95-97 zx6r owners check their bike and they said its the same way.

B:The sprocket carrier has a slight offset on one side.....THIS IS NOT due to a bad wheel bearing......how do I know, because I had a brand new one installed. Why does it sit like that, I have no idea.....it does not pull or shake riding down the highway when you let go of the bars. I was told the rear end shakes when you apply the rear brake......so when I left I hit about 60 and used only the rear and felt no shake at all in the *** end........the front however does and it only started when I put the new brake pads on.

After two pretty decent trips out I do not really wish to ride out to meet anyone else unless they are 100% serious about doing the trade that day or the next.

Nothing against the two members I met up with but 2 hrs of my time plus $15-20 to go out and back sets me back on cash I need not to be spending. If someone is serious I will meet them halfway or they can come here and if they want to do the trade I will ride the bike to their house for them.....other than that I really would rather not go to far from where I live.

If you have any questions feel free to email/pm or IM me....I'm 100% honest about the bike.....I will tell you what I was told and what I know from owning it and riding it the last few months.

There is no way that I can come from NE to WV to get this and probably out of my price range anyway but since I am shopping for a bike right now would you mind pming your price range just for informational purposes? If you would thanks.

PRICE DROP $2200 or best REASONABLE offer cash and its sold! Will come with the 05-06 sides and lower fairings, complete 95 fairings (minus the tail).

The 05-06 need the upper and headlight to complete the set. They also need the mount points done but they do fit (I have pictures). I found something Im interested in so if you are serious PLEASE PM ME ASAP!!! I can deliver the bike within a reasonable distance as long as a deposit is made first.

AmberEG and DX Burnout King have both seen the bike in person and I rode over an hour to get to both of them so Im not a flaker on selling or afraid to ride it a good distance.

These are the sides and belly pan from the 05-06:
