Default Oil Control Jet - Installed Upside Down? HELP

hey guys i am just finishing up my turbo project and my machinist is assembling my longblock for me. i went in to check the status of it the other day and noticed the the oil control jet was pointing up, the little nipple was up instead of the threads. i told him that when i took it out it was with the threads up and i think thats the way its supposed to be, but he still left it. what will happen to the motor if i run it like this? he says thats the way its supposed to be and that he has put together all his honda motors like this. i am really scared of getting my project up after 2 years and having the head freeze up and wreck my cams and everything! please help, any info would be great!!! thanks.

If its your money and your motor then demand that he change it if its wrong. If he doesn't than get your motor back and let someone else do it.

he says its the right way, he is a good builder and has done alot of my old muscle car stuff. i know he will stand behind it if it goes wrong. i just want to make sure nothing bad will happen if it is in backwards because i want to get the car running.

Print that picture of the Helm's Manual and take it with you for proof.

The reason it's threaded is so you can screw a bolt in it and pull it out.It wouldn't make any sense to have the threads facing down.
