Default Does anyone know how to kill the Check Engine Light?

I know the problem with the check engine light. I did a scan and it came up with somethlng to do with the catalic converter. I have a stock cat in there with a full exhaust setup. Im thinkiing if i replace the cat it the light still might be on there. then i would have to replace the oxygen sensor. screw that I want to kill that light, does anyone know which wire to cut? Oh and also my car was built in california. its a 99-00 si

120 volts will kill it or a pellet gun...

If you want to get rid of it, I am sure you can trouble shoot it!

Perhaps a o2 simulator would work if the engine light is on because of the secondary oxigen sensor. If you take the bulb out, your still in limp mode which your car won't run as efficient as it should.

i didnt read any of what people posted. who cares? i got the solution to any car problem. 5 gallons of gas and a flaming arrow. why not a match? you'd be too close to not get hurt. advice from a drunken man. haven't tried it before, but safety first my honda brother.

its time to replace the cat buddy. i had the same code and I replaced mine with a high flow magnaflow cat and it took care of the light. Your si wont run properly without it and it kills you gas milage, just replace the cat.

you don't have to replace the cat, i had the same exact problem and the o2 sim cured the check light
