hey guys...is the tranny fromt he d17 ex motor a good tranny i have a 98 ex with the d16y8 tranny, i know i need a new one im thinkin im goin for a 92-95 since they have the better gearing n final drive but i heard that the tranny from the d17 is also a really good one, idk i could use some help if anyone wants to give it???????????

The D17 will not fit, the 92-95 EX has the same gearing as the 96-00 EX with the exception of second gear 1.909 vs 1.900. The 96-00 is the better choice with the stronger steel shift forks.
