I am about to work on my Auntie's Automatic 1992 Honda Civic EX 4 door. The problem is that it will not shift into reverse....works in all gears except for reverse. When you shift it into reverse ...... nothing happens...no click or any sounds of engagement. When I look into the Honda Repair manual's troubleshooting section....it sounds like a valve may be stuck in the valve body of the transmission. Has anyone ever taken one of these apart?.....Do I have to remove the whole transmission to get to the valve body? Please help.
