Default heavier rims..

does heavier rims reduce top speed? i am being told that it slows down acceleration but top speed won't change. am i seeing anything wrong?

It all has to do with rotational mass... It's very true that it will cause more load on the motor when accelerating, even for top speed it is just going to drag down the motor to get it up there... It may take a bit longer but unless you are drag limited (ie your motor is weak) it's not really goin got make any difference... Peace
