Default Projector Headlights for a 99 Accord

I was just wondering if anyone could help me make a decision on some projector headlights. I have a 99 accord navy blue pearl. I've been looking on ebay and found several that I liked but do not know anything about them. Some are made by "tyc" and "jdm" I don't which one is the best. If anyone has used these or are using another brand, let me know what you think about them. Does it matter if they are halo or not, or is that just for effects. I think the halo looks better and it should give the car a different look. What I'm looking for is something that is going to give me better lighting than the stock lights. If projectors aren't that good should I go with Piaa replacement bulbs?

halo's suck ***, and i'm not to sure about the other projector lights out there. and i dont think there is a jdm projector headlight, unless it was "jdm-style" which usually just means it has a black housing. definetely stay away from the halo's though, the light output is pretty bad.

I have projectors on my 01 accord. They look good, but their light output sucks. If you get them you may want to get some HID's to go with them.

Is the light output comparable to the factory lights or worse. Thanks for the info, so now all I have to do is find which one I want to put on my car. The projectors that I have found range from 150-180. TYS being the most expensive. Would you look at this website and let me know what you think about these. http://search-desc.ebay.com/se...dSort

that would be a decent option cept the halo projectors tend to melt with hid bulbs.

of all the lights listed i'd say the get the tyc's. i havent heard anything about them but they're probably better than all the other cheap **** on there. they dont look too bad either.

I'd say just get a Hella or Philips HID kit on your factory headlight and call it a day. Projectors look tight but light output sucks ***. In most cases aftermarket projectors output with HID kits still suck b/c the beam pattern couldn't be aimed that well.

What makes you say this? Doesn't HID bulbs use less wattage, therefore less exotermic? Please explain.

The halo projectors are cool and get a lot of attention; however, you are basically driving all the time with fog lights. The main projectors, at least the ones that are not TYC, run off of h3's which are the typical fog light bulb. TYC's run off of H!'s which are ok. The H1's are the same bulb the ludes run off of. IMO, forget the projectors. Get black frames and HID...Or the 9005 conversion for most of the cheep bastards out there like myslef...
