I purchased the Z4 19 months ago from Orange County Nissan in Irvine, CA. The BMW has a 6-speed manual transmission with a 3.0ltr, inline 6cylinder engine. The car resided within California it's whole life up until 10/24/10, so there is no rust from snow/salt - which is a major plus for a vehicle out here. The car has been a blast to drive and has not had any issues, except with the passenger seat noted later. The car runs perfect and has no mechanical issues at all. This car has a power convertible top which is great. The top goes up/down with the touch of a button within 5 seconds, which is very convenient. The car has not been in any accidents and has a clean carfax which I can provide. This model has all power options (windows, mirrors, top, seats, etc) and also has heated leather. It does have a 7in screen built into the dash, and a DVD based navigation system, which was a $2,000 dealer option. As well as bluetooth phone and integrated i-pod hookup. Also, the car has the wood grain option which was a $1,000 dealer option. Essentially this car was the top of the line when new and has all options available from the dealer. The majority of the miles are highway, including 3,000 driving across the country last month.
Prior to driving across the country, I had the car serviced at the BMW dealership. The service included; oil change, oil filter change, low beam bulb replacement, microfilter replacement, fuel treatment, 120 point inspection, and a 70,000 mile service - The next service is due in 13,000 miles. Also, I had the radiator hoses replaced and the radiator flushed for winter less than 500 miles ago. Also during that time, the car went through a 'mock' PA inspection and everything passed. I have the paper work for this stating the brake pad levels, everything that passed, etc.
The only issue with the car is that the passenger seat currently does not recline but it does move forward and backward. Other than that, the car has been perfect and a blast to drive. The car has two minor scratches on the outside, consistent with normal wear and tear. The interior is in really good condition.
My asking price is $15,000 and I am somewhat negotiable. - - [b]REDUCED!!! $14,250[/b]
However, I feel this is a great deal with all the options, being a California car, and having a clean title. Also, I just spent almost $1,000 on servicing the vehicle the past month (70,xxx service, Oil/Filter Change, Microfilter Change, 120 pt inspection, Headlight Bulb Replacement, Radiator Hose Replacement, Radiator Flush for winter, NEW Tires, etc - which I have the receipts.
