Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
It is a FULLY rebuilt and restored (down to the unibody) 1995 Civic EJ1 coupe. I am the original owner, and for the first 10 years, it was a daily driven EX coupe with some mods and a Jackson Supercharger on the SOHC motor pushing 155 WHP.

From Feb 2005 to Sep 2006, I stripped and rebuilt the car with no sponsors. I showed the car in that form for about a year, then deployed to the middle east from Oct 2007 to Oct 2008. Since I got back I upgraded the car with the Volks, TYC headlights, EP3 Recaros, BYS lip, and other items. It will remain badged as a Civic Type S with a uniquely built B18C1 with LS internals pushing 180WHP (215-220 crank HP) and 131WTQ (160 lb/ft at the crank) tuned with uberdata. The tranny is also unique in that it is a DC2 Type R tranny with an LS 5th gear, LS 4.266 F/D, and Quaife LSD, enabling me to get super low highway RPM. My average hwy economy is 31-34mpg with a best of 35mpg, yet 1st through 4th are still very quick The interior is very unique with full OEM interior of EP3 Recaro seats with OEM suede and red stitching everywhere else, custom embroidered floormats, Momo accessories, JDM EP3 Momo steering wheel/AP1 airbag combo with functional horn and cruise control, and USDM/JDM hybrid speedo cluster with amber lighting and red lit needles. The Neuspeed coilover suspension is connected to a DC2 5 lug hub and brake conversion with Spoon twin block calipers, Powerslot rotors and Hawk HPS pads. The exterior speaks for itself with many custom but subtle body mods. The I.C.E. consists of Alpine, JL audio, and 1st gen Polk Momo.

This car is a full road car with full amenities to include power steering, air conditioning, and cruise control. It is purely for driving and not for street or track racing. I have never tracked the car, but it can probably do 0-60 in the low 6 second range and 1/4 mile in the low 14 second range. This car is anti-rice and is my vision of a car that could have come off the showroom floor this way. I do have alot of JDM parts, but JDM items were not the main consideration. Aftermarket items were afterthoughts. This car is a tasteful blend of USDM/JDM/EDM/Custom touches. It is fully street and California state ref smog legal.

I have been to a bunch of shows (HIN, Extreme Autofest, DUB, NOPI) in the past few years and managed to get some awards along the way. In 2009, I will hit HIN LA, Eibach, and SPOCOM.

The motor is a B18C1 block and P72 GSR head. The internals are a balanced and micropolished LS crank and Eagle rods for an LS with CP forged pistons. Dyno was 180WHP and 131WTQ. The motor is California smog legal through the BAR referee.

The 1 piece headlights are TYC HID units. These are not the typical H3 H1 units converted to HID, but a limited production run of actual HID headlights made by TYC. The fogs are genuine Stanley yellow fogs. The lip is Backyard Special. Look close at the front bumper and the grill insert is a one off custom made piece.

The wheel is a JDM EP3/DC5 Momo wheel with an AP1 S2000 airbag. I had to use a 96-00 Civic steering column to make it work. Also used an S2000 clock spring to hook up the cruise, horn, and airbag. I did all the custom splicing under the dash.

The cluster is a mixture of my original USDM cluster and a JDM Vti cluster. I am running the red lit needles and #74 amber bulbs. It is dead on accurate in looks and function and I don't have to convert kilometers to miles in my head by a factor of 0.62. My mileage is 100% legal.

These Recaro seats are from a JDM EP3 Type R. These have the leg extenders. They are bolted in with Wedge Engineering rails and brackets.

Compared to the DC2 and DC5 Recaros, these are MUCH more comfortable for a street driven car and for long road trips.

The shift knob and e-brake handle are Momo.

The center console cover is covered in OEM suede and red stitching.

The rear seats are the original EJ1 seats. I had them rewrapped in OEM suede and red stitching. The real Type R seats do not fit into the EJ1 correctly. Plus I can still fold these down like normal.

The door panels are from a 1993 EJ1 coupe that didn't have the factory tweeters. No reason to have those if aftermarket tweeters are installed in a sonically correct location. My tweeters are mounted in the grills. The inserts are also wrapped in OEM suede and red stitching.

1st generation Polk Momo 10" sub, JL Audio 5 channel amp, Alpine external processor, and Polk Audio crossovers. The compartments are using Varad blue and white LED's. The 5 lug donut spare tire is in the correct location. With the factory trunk liner, everything is hidden and the trunk can still be used normally.
