New oem air intake sensor, I copied the trick others have done here shaving down the insulation to provide quicker air temp response for the computer. Hopefully the sensor survived and is still functional! We will see...

Then cut the piece with the 2 slots in it intontwo pieces, 1 for each side of the battery tray. The tabs are needed in order to move the mounting point for the j hook on the bolt to attach to - they are too short to reach in the stock battery tray.

Ground all the paint off, and cut it in half, saving the part with the slots that we needed.

Here's the completed battery tray still in a rough state. My welding is terrible so I always have to weld, then grind into shape, but it works. Next steps are to grind, prime, and then paint. Need to finish this task so we can mock the battery back up and measure all the heavy duty new ground, starter, alternator etc power cables.

I couldn't remove the broken stud from the intake manifold with regular pliers or vice grips, these however worked great and made the job easy. Highly recommended.

The adapter harness fits the new injector, but the other end of the adapter doesnt fit the engine wire harness. Not sure if its an OBD1 vs OBD2 thing or some other issue..

The heater valve has 3 small screws, 2 for attaching it to the firewall mount, and 1 for the valve lever. If the screws are rusty you can replace all 3 with this size screw, I used stainless of course like most of the other hardware being replaced.
