Default G35 wheels

Has anyone out there thought of or tried putting a set of Infiniti G35 wheels (the rays kind w/ the lip) on a 5th gen lude?? They're 18x8 and 5x114.3, so I think they'd fit in there good. I thought 8" may be a lil too wide, but when I put in the specs of my lude on a wheel website they had some 18x8's for my lude. Does anyone know what size tire i should use if these rims would work?? I'm thinkin like 235/40/18. Too big or too small??

my friend had my 18x8 volks on his lude and they fit really good. He had 215/35/18's (tiny bit of strech). They had 225/40/18s but they had a slight rub.

Yeah, 40's should be fine. His fenders were NOT rolled or pulled so it should be good. If anything you may need to roll your fenders. Or just deal with the rubbing if they do. I wouldnt worry about it though. His rarely rubbed with the 22540's on the rears. Fronts shouldnt have any problems rubbing.
