Default Yet another what wheels are these thread..........

Sorry for another wheel ID thread, but I've no where else to turn........

These wheels came with a $600 91 Accord that I've been restoring to stock with my worn out 91 Accord. These wheels would get destroyed on my gravel road so they are of little use to me, plus apparently you have to have wider mudflaps to accommodate them to be legal in my state. They throw mud all upside the car, and everywhere else. So off they go!

I want to put them up on Craigslist, but I've no idea what they are worth! There are no apparent Manufacture or model name, and I've never bothered shopping for aftermarket wheels before, so IDK.

The tires are Barum Bravuris, size 195/60 R14 86H(not sure what the last number is), I can't tell what the actual width of the wheels is, but it appears to be 7". Tread wear looks like 70-80%, maybe better.

Any ID or ballpark figures on the value would be appreciated!

They look like some older American Racing wheels designed for a more "domestic" chassis.

Would I be crazy to ask $300 for the set?

I would say $300obo would be a decent place to start. I wouldn't go lower then $150 for the set, though.

My $300 figure is fairly low I think, thats $50 per rim, and $25 per tire. I've seen this tire sell for 25-50 apiece on E-bay. I do need to find out what vehicle these rims were meant for though.

Thanks so far!

Wouldn't a Mustang use bigger rims than 14"? I'm thinking mini-truck maybe, or another small car..............

Well, that's not strictly accurate.
1979 - 1993 Mustang : 4x108
1985 - 1993 Mustang 5.0GT : 4x108

And, considering your wheels are not complete, asking $50/wheel isn't a bad deal... but in the same hand, it's not exactly going to compete with a set of steel wheels with tires for $50 - $100 or a set of mainstream cheap aftermarket wheels (Motegi for example) at $200 - $300 a set.

Whats not complete about the wheels, are parts missing? Just in case there is some misunderstanding, this is a set of 4 wheels with completely matching tires.

Some research elsewhere has shown that the bolt pattern used matches 90-97 Accords, mid-80s Corollas, and a number of Acuras, Kia, Nissans, Hyundais, Mitsubishis, etc, etc. The only Domestic brands it would fit would be the Geo Metro and the Mercury Tracer.

So based on that, and the 14" rim, I'd say these wheels were made for imports, and may have been ordered new for a Accord.

Those wheels should probably have center caps, judging by the way they're manufactured.

How do I determine the width of the rims without removing the tires? It looks like 7" but I'd like to know for sure.

The inside back of the rim isn't stamped??? (possibly on one of the spokes etc..)
