Default wheel stud length

i know it varies from car to car but does anyone know how long the rear wheel studs are when the brake rotor is over them (in other words when installed)?

i'm trying to put a 20mm adapter/spacer on my 92 accord and would like to know if the studs will protrude over the spacer. my wheels cannot support the studs sticking out over the spacer.

maybe someone has a knuckle of some sort that they can quickly measure off of. thanks in advance!

yeah i'm trying to use a 20mm adapter/spacer as you pictured. no bolt pattern change. what i'm asking is how long is the stock studs are so when i put on that adapter, the studs won't protrude over the adapter. my wheels cannot support the protruding stock studs. i hope that makes sense.

so if the stock studs are over 20mm long then it WILL protrude over the adapter.

from end to end oem studs are 1.85 inches then you got the brake rotor or drum that takes up some space on the stud..if you can measure the thickness of your rotor then subtract that from the stud length i just provided then you got your answer buddy...(sorry my wack a*s couldn't find a ruler to measure for you )

im pretty sure youll need a 25mm spacer instead of the 20mm if your wheels dont have backspace on the hub. not positive but thats how it is with the TC sportline spacers but ive only seen 15mm & 25mm never 20, the seller cant help you out?
just get eibach/H&R spacers and change out the studs for extended then you can run any size spacer later on down the line.

yeah but i have an odd feeling he is running a covered cap wheel something of the +47 offset variety and they do not have the pockets behind the hub to support the leftover studs either..which brings us to this sad but true solution...

try them on already

anything over 8mm i recommend extended studs on, if you get the ones that have their own studs, i believe if you might need to go with 25mm for the stock stud to have enough clearance...

yep no backspace on my wheels as the TC sportlines state. 25 is too agressive and will kill my fenders. that will be like running +22 offset on an 8" wheel. too crazy for me .

thanks for the replies guys!
