Default wheel size

I own a 93 civic sedan, I'm going to be buying new wheels soon. I'm considering 14x7 with a -13 offset with a 195/45/14 tire. Do you know if I will have any rubbing issues?

That's going to require a lot of negative camber to fit properly. Also, those tires are dangerously undersized for the car.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. so maybe a 14x6 -13? What tire would you recommend, as you could tell I went wayy overboard with the tires.

What's the obsession with -13 for an offset?

A more fitting tire for a 14" wheel would be 195/55/14 (if you can find tires in that size), or more commonly 195/60/14.

-13 will look different, depending on what the width of the wheel is. So, judging a wheel by only the offset is almost entirely useless.

-13 on a 6" wide wheel will have an inch less of lip surface, when compared to that of a wheel that is 8" wide and has an offset of -13.

Ya I feel you, what would be your recommendation for tires and wheels then? I'm rather new to this if it wasn't already blatantly obvious. I'm looking at the work equip 03 i do lile the negative offsest look and I want them to look prett flush to the fenders on my civic, I also have plans to lower it soon. Thanks advance for all your help and insight, it's really good to know we still have people who are actually interested in helping others here on HT !

If you're looking for that perfect fitment setup, I'd say look towards a 15x8 +20 or so. It can be fit with a little bit of negative camber, rolled quarter panels/fenders, and still manage a safe tire setup.
