Default Wheel help needed

I have a set of RC Stark II's. I was always under the impression that they were a 2pc wheel. After last night, Im not so sure any more. I took the face off to clean and polish the wheels. Once the face was off, I saw what looked like an outter lip pressed against an inner lip. There also appears to be a seal of some sort around the wheel. Here are some pictures of what I am talking about.

I would like to know for sure if they are 2 or 3pc wheels, and whether I can get wider lips/barrels made fore them. At the moment they are 15x6 +45.

The barrel is a 2-piece welded barrel. So, technically, it's a welded 3-piece wheel.

Well, if you've got a talented wheel guy... anything can be done. You may be able to take them to an alloy wheel repair-man/specialist and see if they couldn't add material in.

He's rather busy these days, and sometimes can be difficult to get a hold of.

Well, you can start with a simple Google search for local companies that do alloy wheel widening.

Here's one that has a shop in San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston: http://www.wheelsamerica.com/index.php?page=widening
