Default Upgrading wheel size

I want to purchase some new wheels for my 1999 Accord 3.0i 6cyl The car is entirely stock, no mods at the moment.
Stock wheels are 205/55R16.

I really want to put on some 20's please can you tell me if this is possible? If not straight on then what changes will need to be made to the body? I've noticed the suspension is closer to the tyres than it has been on other cars I've had. I've no problems with getting the arches adjusted to fit 20's. What other things would I need to consider?

Thanks
Simon

I would consider how ugly they're going to look. 20's on an Accord? Not to mention how heavy they're going to be. It'll basically kill what fuel economy and performance your car had.

Don't get 20s. Don't be ridiculous. They don't make any 20-inch tire sizes for your car, and even if they did, it would look just plain stupid. Personally, I would stick to 17", max. Don't go any bigger than 18" under any circumstances.

Also, are you sure that 205/55-16 is your stock tire size? In the States, the '99 Accords with 16" tires came with 205/60-16. Could you check your owner's manual please and verify what the recommended tire size is?
