are 25 pound rims too heavy?

bak in 99 I had some 18" Focal F3s (they were the **** back then) They weighed about 45lbs with the tire on it. It rode fine, the car was sluggish anyway (DX Civic). I would not buy a wheel that heavy now, but I will tell you that you will definately feel the weight increase once you install them. My current wheels weigh 10lbs.
