Default tire question..

buying new rims but the old ones i had were 17x7. konig countersteers (the ones im buying) are 17x7.5. would i be able to fit those rims onto the tires that i have on right now?

tire size is 205/40/17.

Yes, you should be able to mount 205/40-17 tires onto 17x7.5 wheels without any problems. Most 205/40-17 tires are approved for mounting on wheels 7.0-8.0 inches wide.
