Default thoughts on staggered setup

hey so i have a 01 civic coupe, i have two sets of wheels
1 set 205/50/15
1 set 205/45/16

as you can see the tires are almost identical in both height and width
now i was wondering what peoples thoughts are on a setup like this if i were to put the 15 inch rims up front and the 16s in the rear.
both sets of wheels have the same offset and they are both 7 inch wide
just trying something new as i have too much time on my hands

Even though this post is not technical whatsoever, I will reply:

No.

Sounds like a waste of time to me, with a potential of injury.

You're tire is actually about an inch shorter in the rear with that setup.

I agree, it's kind of pointless to stagger your rims that way. What reason are you wanting to do this?

You did something wrong on your calcs there bud. The difference is more like 3/16" between the two.

I thought for sure this would be the other kind of staggered set up. running 225 fronts and 205 rears (or similar) as there is actually a purpose to that; It works well if you like a "loose-ish" setup.

2 different rim sizes will look wrong on a civic IMO

It looks perfectly fine, on a drag car.
