Default Are these sizes' diameter the same??

I'm looking for new tires for my new 15" rims. I"m currently having 195/60/14 tires, if I wrap the 15"s with 195/50/15, is it the same diameter as the 195/60/14?? Hope someone can kindly reply me...

195/50-15 is too small (2.3 percent smaller). If your car came with 195/60-14 tires stock (like many Integras), you need to use either 195/55-15 (1.0 percent larger) or 205/50-15 (0.6 percent smaller).

I did read the FAQ under the Forum Rules...but can see an answer from there . I did think about to get a set of 205/50, but some say that my car only got 127hp, if I use 205 tires, they will slow my car down a bit....Not sure if that's true...?

No, that's not true.

Get the right size for your car. If it's an Integra, that's 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.

Thanks for your help so much...

Actually, I'm driving a civic sedan with 127hp, so I'm just wondering about the speed will drop if I really put those 205 tires on ( i know the handling will be better, though).

For a '97-00 Civic Sedan, use 195/55-15 or 205/50-15. They won't hurt your acceleration.
