Are these authentic Regamaster wheels?
Hi dudes!
Ive been looking for a set of authentic desmond regamaster wheels forever in my area and finally someone posted some. But im getting this impression that they are not authentic.
They look like slipstreams with a rega sticker. I say this because I didnt think the Regamasters had all those holes in the center (all the ones ive seen only had 4 - in my case).
Can anyone confirm this?

And for comparison thanks to ICB Motorsports:

Thanks!

They look real to me. Ask for pics of the desmond sticker on the inside of the wheel. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i116/spids5/gtr7.jpg
Heres a pic of my regas.
yes, the 15" FINAL version as pictured in that icb pic have no holes but the older ones like these:

had holes.
hard to tell. ask him for some 'made in russia' pics from the back of the hub and his name written on a piece of paper

The Evo sticker is authentic so I would say that the rims are also real. There are replica stickers out there but they look like total **** and are easy to spot.
There are also plenty of legit sticker sets being sold to Rota owners, so it's not uncommon to find Slipstreams with Evo badging.
I've never seen a real set of stickers on Rotas, only replicas. Not saying there isn't but I would say it is very slim. Real stickers are hard to find and much more expensive than the replicas. Also I just don't see someone not willing to buy the real thing but paying $150 for real stickers. That is almost half the price of the rims. lol
Another thing is most shops like icb won't sell you stickers unless you can prove that you have real RegaMasters. That is when they still sold them to people that weren't previous customers. That was a while ago and I don't think they still have extras for customers like they use too anyways.
I also don't see someone trying to scam someone like that. It is just to easy to figure out if they are authentic or not. All you have to do is check to see if the the Desmond sticker or made in Russia stamp is there. If I had to put money on it I would say the rims are authentic.

You sure the stickers were real? If you don't know what you are looking for they almost look the same. I've only seen one person on here trying to pass off Rotas as RegaMasters with replica stickers and if you say you have seen five doing it with authentic stickers maybe you are right. I've probably never seen it because I don't go to shows or rarely go into the AC forum. :shrugs: I still say the rims in question are authentic.

I used to have a set of Regamaster Evo's, so I know exactly what they look like.
