Default Spacers and Nuts

Hi,

I bought some new wheels and found out I needed spacers because the front wheels were rubbing against the brake caliper.

So I bought some spacers and lug nuts for that. Now, I have a problem with attaching the spacer to the car.

The honda studs stick out past the spacer so I figure I would cut them down to make it flush with the spacer however, the honda lug nuts would be sticking out as well.

My friend who worked on my wheels suggested I get some regular nuts for honda studs. Not lug nuts. So I went to my local hardware store and the thread style on their nuts are half an inch.

I think I need nuts with threads that are 1.5 inches. I am not sure though and am not sure where I can find such a thing. Please help.

I just need some nuts that are small enough to fit through the holes of the spacer to fit on the studs of my car.

What kind of spacer did you get. Some such as Project Kics bolt onto the existing studs with countersunk nuts. others like most of H&R's need longer studs installed. You shouldnt have to cut down anything.

Btw you dont want to use hardware store nuts, theyre probably not strong enough.

yeah, i realized i made a mistake, the 1.5 is mm, not inches, between each thread.

I got spacers from max: http://www.gtfactory.jp/cms/page.php?10. I bought some nissan lugs to go with it. The studs are attached to the spacer for the wheel.

When I put the spacer on the car (through the other four holes), the honda lugnuts are longer than the 15mm spacer, that's why I was planning to cut it so the studs are flush with the spacer.

To attach the spacer to the car, I was planning on getting these:

The other option I was thinking is just getting longer studs or use the studs on the spacer to replace the honda ones.... I am not sure what to do
