size recomendation and offset help!
okay well in december im going to buy rims and so far im interested in rota group n. in all black. i havent found too many rims that ive liked that i have the money for ( 500$)
i wanted to know what you guys would suggest on my car 15's or 16's on my EG. and i want to drop my car and tuck and i dont know what offset to get. or size tire.
having 15's or 16s doesnt change how low my car is right? because the smaller the wheel the bigger the tire?
thanks
this question has been bothering me for a while and i really wanted to find out what offset will tuck.

i believe group n's only come in one size: 15"..anyway..get the highest offset possible to avoid rubbing like +45 or ?? and then 195/50 is fine...

That's correct. You can get tires in the proper size and they will have roughly the same outer diameter as your stock tires. For a '92-95 Civic, that's 195/50-15 for the 15" wheels, and 205/40-16 or 195/45-16 for the 16" wheels.
EDIT: Sorry, I made a mistake when I originally typed the 16" sizes.

that is the sizing in that link above ^^
15x6.5 +40 offset 4x100. if that is the highest offset available then get that size and run 195/50 tires and you are set. don't go any bigger cus you will rub while riding dumped as stated above
and plus it will just be the wrong size and will not do your speedometer or gearing any good while daily street driving

No, no, no!!!
I'm sorry, I fat-fingered the 16" sizes when I originally typed them in my previous post. My bad! The best 16" sizes are 205/40-16 or 195/45-16. Both are fine on 16x7 wheels. 205/40-16 is a great size for your car, and you have a lot of great tires available in that size (Falken Azenis RT-615 for the best dry traction, but with rapid treadwear; Kumho SPT for very good dry traction, excellent in rain, and long-lasting; Kumho ASX if you need to use the tires in snow as well as the rest of the year). If you're willing to spend more for a tire that performs better than the SPT but lasts longer than the Azenis, the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 is available in 195/45-16, not in 205/40-16.
