what type of metal does rita use to make their wheels. i called a local sandblasting shop and they said they dont blast aluminum. thanx in advance.

just use aircraft paint remover. jasco is good or the spray type. i use both.

i used aircraft stripper and it still left some white residue in some areas. put another coat on and still left some residue.

i had the same problem w/ mine before and i just kept trying and it worked after i brought a small mouse sander into the equation.
if all else fails bring it to a shop that specializes in powder coating wheels. i think the will use media? blast on soft aluminum (please do not quote me) all i know is that there are different types of methods they can use.
