Default Rim offset help!

Hey guys,i tried searching but it doesnt work!!
i wanted to ask u a quick question...anyway so i found some 7,5 x 16" rims for my civic eg..the only thing is that the offset is 38...now from what i remember from my old civic,a 33 offset brought the wheel in line with the fender..
so my question is with a 38 offset, how far into the fende will my wheel go?any fotos?

I don't have an EG, I have and EK, but it will fit pretty much the same.

Rim diameter has nothing to do with offset. Offset is what direction and how far the center of the wheel is in relation to the outside of the rim and is related to the width of your wheel. +45 = tiny lip(most of the time) and further outside, -5 = deep lip and further inside.

Just remember the lower the number the more your wheel will stick out.

Hell I used to run + wheels on the Silvia ! It's all about the camber

Camber and toe is an effect of lowering not wheel offset. / \ negative \ / pos.

i dont get you....u mean they arent good??
i only need them cuz they cost cheap, and to get the wheel size on the reg. book...her in italy you are not aloud to change wheel size......if you pay alot you can,so i nedd to spend little on the rims for now...
