Reverse Mount BBS????
So i was reading a guys thread and it said that his 3piece BBS wheels are Reverse mounted. They looked normal to me. When i think reverse mount, the only thing that comes to mind is piecing them together using the inner barrel as the outside of the wheel. But they dont look like it. The lips were very mild.
-Can someone please explain this into further detail?

I don't know for sure. But when I watched him do it, he laid the wheel face down, instead of face up, when mounting the tire. I really don't know why that would matter, but apparently it does.
I'm sure someone else will be able to chime in on the matter

Actually the opposite. On a tire-mounting machine, it grabs the wheel on the inside barrel (back of the wheel) and my reverse-mounted wheels, it grabbed the wheel on the lip (face of wheel). So you're much more likely to scratch it that way. Why it's like that? I don't know...

definition one: reverse mount would be when the face is mounted behind the outer lips.

this is a 3 piece bbs lm i created. i mounted the face behind the outer lip opposed to the traditional front side mount. i consider the bbs rs, work rezax and work equip to be reverse mounted and also 'sandwich' mounted since the center is stuck between 2 wheel halves.
definition two: when the tire is mounted on to the reverse portion of the wheel (wheel face down on the tire machine) the tire is mounted in this fashion due to the location of the drop center(reverse drop center) and also so they wont easily bend/damage the wheel.
