Default REMOVING PAINT FROM WHEELS??

Anyone knows if AirCraft Paint Remover will work on power coated rims?? If not, does any know what would really work??

Some ones got to know.. I know for a fact it takes off paint. I've used it several times. Just not sure about powder coating??

yes it will. try it and use it preferably in hot/warm weather(well ventilated) and let it sit for a good 15mins..basically just follow the directions. i like the spray type best but you may want to buy a few cans depending on the amount of area you are using it for .

yes itll work....but what do you plan on doing with the wheels when your done cuz you cant just use aircraft stripper and then be done with it.....you either have to repaint them or use a good bit off clear coat or they'll get ruined

he is right and especially since most factory finishes have a thick primer underneath that may be scratched or uneven....afterwards, you will need to sand off all the factory primer ether if you want to polish the wheels or if you want to paint then use another coat of primer then base, etc
