I've always been a fan of the product lines your company provides, but guys need to make more 16" tall, 8" wide, pcd100, 4lug wheels. The new Mini, most 96-05 Civics, and Miata's could use some support. Tire manufacturers should realize this blatant oversight as well.

Any chance in making some 15x8 te37's like you used to? Maybe a limited number for a groupe buy? Even some 7.5 wide would be good. please!

16x8 is a bit too wide for most '96-00 Civics. Those cars usually use 205/45-16 tires, which should only be mounted on rims 6.5-7.5 inches wide.

15x8 won't sell well. They're too wide for the street tire sizes for our cars that most frequently use 15" wheels, such as Integras and pre-2001 Civics. Track use is an exception, but track folks don't usually spend a lot of money on fancy wheels.

225-45-15 for track use. Find me another brand that makes 15x7.5 or 8 in 5x114.3 that will clear spoon calipers without spacers for cheap, there are none that I know of. There use to be a few made and they sold to racers but not anymore.

I am using some Volks TE-37 that are 15x8 +43.

They work just fine with 225-45-15 on my DC2 ITR track-only vehicle but, as you might guess, I do have to use spacers to bring them out to +38.

There are lots of spacers and lugs available that will do the job very cheaply.

This is trail braking, full compression with 14K springs on nose. You can see that it is pretty close...but it works.

That's a very big image, so I'm not posting the picture.

It's at Summit Point, braking just before the left into Turn 5.

You can see that +38 with 225's is very close, and this is with 14K springs.

Be careful! But it'll work!

Yes, equal spacers @ all four corners, w/extended lugs.

I'm not good enough for Hoosiers. I am still using Toyos.

And I'm not exactly what you'd call fast.

Modified for accuracy.

I've made 16x8 +35's work with 225/45/16's on an EK. Not entirely stock on the fenders, though. Still something that's becoming more common, as people swap the K-series engines into the EK chassis.

Hi there - Thanks for the input! We can make 16x8 4-100 - we basically need to have the customer demand for that size -

Some inside info:

The wheels are mold forged, which means that since everything is forged from an open die, there are limitations on doing certain sizes, offsets (in Japan its called "Inset" now) -

If your case - 16x8 4-100 it is possible to make - however we would need a distributor to step to purchase the minimum amount - in this case it would be 10 sets - or we need all of you Honda Tech guys to start ordering to the shops for this size and we can decide to add it to the catalog.

Make your voice heard and we'll make it!

Thanks and if you have more requests, hit us up and we'll do our best to get it done.

ETA for such development is going to be 4 months to start to delivery in the states BTW - thanks!

Hi there - as replied to the post above - we CAN make that size - we just need either the demand, or a shop to commit to the minimum requirement which would be 40pcs per part number as long as our molds have enough tolerance for the desired application.

In your case we can - a group buy would work fine - Hit up one of the vendors on Honda tech that is an approved reseller of RAYS wheels - (you can check on www.rays-msc.com) and we'll get it done!

Thanks!

There's still the matter of purchase price, where the difference is still huge.

Actually, 16x8 will work fine with 215/45-16, which is a better size for the '97-00 Civic. Because it's within 1 percent of the stock outer diameter, it won't reduce your acceleration, it won't throw the gauges off much, it should fit without rolling the fenders, and you have some choices for sticky tires in that size (e.g. Kumho XS). However, it will still prevent you from using 205/45-16 if you decide you want a tire that only comes in that size.

Well, the car's far from stock, bud. It doesn't utilize many OEM components. It's far from street legal.
