Default question about sis---------

how would 195-60 15 tires look on sis or any 15" oem rims on a eg hatch? does anybody have pics? will these tires be to big and hit the fenders with a 2.5 drop? will it look retarded and big? ive seen them on ek and they dont look bad but im wondering if it might look too big on an eg am also worried about hitting the fenders. let meknow what yall think and thanks.

I don't know what 15" tires would look like on your sisiter.... Did you mean SI rims or 'SIs'?

195/60-15 is too big for an eg, 195/50-15 is much better. Why do you want to know, are you getting a special deal or something?

Cheers.

There's no advantage to the 195/60, and several disadvantages. Yes, they are more likely to rub; also, they will hurt your acceleration, and throw off your speedometer and odometer.

Say hi to your sis for me, and tell her she was great.

I also ran 195/50-15 on my 2000 Si

I use to run 205/50-15 but my 60ft off the line sucked hard. . .

use to also run 195/55-15 but it just looked a little bigger

i was really satisfied with 195/50-15s

Then drop to 14" tires.

To each his own, although note that it is the wrong size and yoru speedo and tach will be off. It is undersized, that is why it probably helped you 60' time. It is like having smaller gears, although not by much, just a few percent.

Like neri said, the reason you don't have much ride comfort is because of the size of your wheels, not the size of your tires. If you want a softer ride, get 14" wheels, or even your stock 13" wheels, with the proper size tires (185/60-14 or 175/70-13).
